Kentucky Science & Engineering Foundation Highlighted in the KSTC Impact Report

As an initiative of the Kentucky Science and Technology Corporation, KSEF works with our partner programs to accelerate innovation-driven economic development throughout the state. Collectively, we do this by supporting research-driven products and services, expanding access to capital, and developing talent.

The KSEF team focuses on encouraging the growth of scientific and engineering excellence, expanding access to R&D capital, and developing talent. KSEF programs remove barriers for small businesses to access SBIR/STTR funding and fuel technological and economic growth in the Commonwealth.

This year we introduced three new agency-specific Proposal Labs (USDA, NSF and NIH) to support entrepreneurs seeking non-dilutive funding through America’s Seed Fund. Joshua Covington, founder of GradEd Gaming, completed the NSF Proposal Lab and submitted his proposal in only a month.

Any time I needed help, they were right there to help me. That kind of support is unheard of.
