Review Eligibility
Pre-Apply Electronically
You should be a Kentucky-based, for-profit small business that anticipates expenses related to the support of a successful SBIR/STTR application.
Complete your pre-application form.
Meet with Us
After reviewing your pre-application, we will extend an invitation to schedule time to talk. Your pre-application will be reviewed and discussed with you.
Submit Proposed Use of Funds
Awardee Selection and Notification
Submit Disbursement Request Form and Itemization Sheet
If your pre-application is selected, you will be invited to submit a proposal for use of funds. Ensure you understand the acceptable use of funds for your award. There is a limited time in which funds will be available.
Occurs on a rolling basis. The process should not exceed 4 weeks - unless revisions or clarifications are requested for your application. Awardees will be selected based on the acceptable use of funds and likelihood of progressing a successful SBIR/STTR application.
Once expenses are incurred, submit the disbursement request form and itemization sheet for release of funds, to be reviewed and paid quarterly.
