SBIR/STTR Budget & Management - Budget Proposal for Grants

KSEF is hosting Jim Greenwood to discuss SBIR/STTR budgets and award management.This session starts by covering the basics of SBIR/STTR cost proposals and government accounting, including confusing and misused terminology. You will learn how to develop your own indirect rate, and how it would be applied to NSF, NIH, USDA and the other agencies that use grants.gov to receive proposals. Finally, you will learn some strategies for coping effectively with agency attempts to put restrictive caps on their indirect rates, such as the new 15% rates at NIH and DOE.
